The Killers have named their new album as 'Day And Age' and plan to release the LP in November.
Although neither a fixed release date or tracklisting has been confirmed, the band take recently been performing iI songs live in the form of 'Spaceman' and 'Neon Tiger' - you can look on videos of both these tracks right-hand here.
The last Killers record album was 2006's 'Sam's Town'.
COLDPLAY were left so stunned by a scathing critique of their last album X+Y they brought in producer BRIAN ENO to help them become the band they wanted to be.
The New York Times article suggested the British band were "the most insufferable" on the back of the 2005 album, prompting singer Chris Martin to take notice.
He says, "It was a big deal. It's the first real attack on your band, and from a publication we all respect.
"I agreed with a lot of the points... so, in a way, it was liberating to see that someone else realised that also. And there is something glamorous to me in taking a bit of a beating and keeping on going."
The bad review led Martin to ask former Roxy Music star Eno to help the band find a producer who would help the band become better. He offered himself and got tough with the Yellow hitmakers.
Martin tells Rolling Stone magazine, "He goes, `Your songs are too long and you're too repetitive, and you use the same tricks too much, and big things aren't necessarily good things, and you use the same sounds too much, and your lyrics are not good enough.' He broke it down."
